I thank the member for some notice
of this question.
(1)–(2) The
state government has made a significant investment to enhance country ambulance
services in recent years in recognition of the importance of continuing to
provide a safe, sustainable and high‑quality service to our communities
in country Western Australia. All the findings and recommendations of the
independent oversight panel on country ambulance services will be considered.
As part of normal service delivery arrangements, opportunities to improve and
enhance outcomes are regularly considered. The Department of Health and the WA
Country Health Service will continue to work with St John Ambulance.
