I refer to classification and recording of domestic Violence incidents and ask: (a) has there been any change in the last 12 months with the police procedures for collating Domestic Violence statistics; (b) if a domestic violence victim and the perpetrator had previously been in a relationship but had no contact with each other for 10 years and an assault occurs would this incident be categorised as a domestic violence incident; (c) if such an incident as described in (b) is not categorised as a domestic violence incident would the Minister provide the rationale behind such a decision; and (d) if such an incident as described in (b) is not categorised as a domestic violence incident, was this is also the case prior to March 2013?

(a) Yes. The meeting did not occur in February 2014 at the request of the LGSFSA Board. The meeting will now take place following the completion of the forensic review of LGSFSA. This is now scheduled to be completed at the end of April 2014.
(i) Not applicable.
(ii) Not applicable.
(b) Management concerns were identified by the DSC's independent Quality Management Framework that assesses a service provider organisation against the nine Disability Services Standards. These concerns are now being investigated by an independent forensic review of LGSFSA in accordance with the General Provisions (2008) of the Service Agreement between LGSFA and the DSC.
(c) No.
(d) Yes. Potential breaches of the Disability Services Standards.
(e) Matters of concern are under investigation by an independent forensic review that commenced on 24 February 2014.
(f) Issues of concern identified by DSC's independent Quality Management Framework were sufficiently serious to warrant further investigation as permitted under the Service Agreement. Therefore a forensic review is being undertaken to determine the validity of these concerns.
