I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) It is expected that the draft Peel regional park plan will be advertised for public comment in early 2006. (2) (a) The land is vested in various state and local government agencies, including the Conservation Commission of Western Australia, the Water and Rivers Commission, the Water Corporation, the City of Mandurah and the Shire of Murray. A percentage of the land is not vested. Land purchased by the Western Australian Planning Commission under the Peel region scheme is held in its ownership pending finalisation of the Peel regional park plan. (b) The Department of Conservation and Land Management is responsible for management of the land vested in the Conservation Commission. The Department of Environment is responsible for management of land vested in the Water and Rivers Commission. The Department for Planning and Infrastructure is responsible for management of the unvested land and land owned by the Western Australian Planning Commission.
