(2) Under the City of Fremantle’s town planning scheme 4, the Western Australian Planning Commission has recommended that the land in question be shown as a development area. This requires a structure plan to be prepared and approved for the area. Development of the structure plan will involve the City of Fremantle, the Western Australian Planning Commission, Main Roads and the community. The conservation and cultural values of Clontarf Hill are important elements to be considered as part of the structure plan preparation.
