CHANGE — LAW REFORM COMMISSION REPORT
1234. Hon ALISON XAMON to the Leader of the House
representing the Attorney General:
I refer to the Law Reform
Commission of Western Australia's report ''Project 108: Final
Report: Review of Western Australian legislation in relation to the
registration or change of a person sex and/or gender status relating to sex
characteristics'' tabled in December 2018.
(1) Has the government fully
considered the report?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) are there any
other recommendations that the government will not be accepting in addition to
recommendations 5 and 6 mentioned at the time of tabling; and
(b) has any progress been made toward implementing any
of the recommendations; and, if so, which ones?
(3) If no to (1), when does the
minister expect the report will be considered?
