I refer to the HomesWest property at 4 East Street, Guildford, and I ask -
(1) Is the Minister aware of the serious property complaints that several of the tenants in this Homeswest complex have been lodging for several years?
(2) Can the Minister detail a timetable in which these problems will be resolved, including -
(a) when the mould that infests the walls will be finally removed;
(b) when the bathrooms will be properly waterproofed, so as not to increase the mould issues;
(c) when the fences will be repaired; and
(d) when the cracks, as wide as 5 centimetres in some places, in the roof and walls will be repaired?
(3) Is the Minister aware that the structural damage to the roof and walls of at least two of these properties is so bad that each and every time there is any wet weather the tenants of these properties have to request mould clean up again, as it simply restarts the problem?
(4) Has the Minister discussed these properties with Transfield?
(5) Has Transfield provided any kind of work program to deal with the serious faults in these units?
(6) Is the Minister aware that at least one of these properties with serious structural damage has asbestos?
(7) Has anyone done any kind of investigation as to whether this is endangering the health of the residents?
(8) Is the Minister aware that at least two of the residents of these properties, one of them a child, has developed serious asthma while living in these poorly maintained properties?
(9) Has the Minister considered relocating any of the tenants at this address to other Homeswest properties due to the state of their properties?
(10) If yes to (10), has the Minister discussed it with any of the tenants?
