(a) The changes to transfer times will come into effect on 1 September 2001. As a point of clarification the changes are:
Passengers travelling on a Zone 1, 2, 3, or 4 ticket will be allowed 2 hours for their journey, an increase from the current 1.5 hours; and
Passengers travelling on a Zone 5, 6, 7 and 8 tickets will be allowed 3 hours for their journey, an increase from the current 2 hours.
These changes have been advised by a media statement and advertisement in the West Australian on 30 June 2001.
