The Western Australian Police Force advise:
(a) As at 30 June 2017 2 293 013
As at 30 June 2018 2 331 842
(b) 1 800 000
(c) Evidentiary Charges resulting from Positive Preliminary Breath Tests in 2017 and 2018:

(d) The WA Police Force 2018-19 financial year target is a minimum of 1 800 000 tests. It is expected that this number will be exceeded.
(e) Breath tests conducted by Regional Enforcement Unit (REU) in 2018 were 32 615 (1 July to 31 December 2018) .
(f) The Regional Enforcement Unit does not have a target number of breath tests. REU vehicles enforce traffic laws and provide a visible police presence on regional WA roads, normally within a 400km radius of the metropolitan area, complimenting local police efforts.
(g) REU in 2018 recorded 138 positive breath tests that resulted in 22 Evidentiary Charges.
(h) The number of breath tests conducted by the REU for each regional policing district;
