Water recycling remains an important part of the Water Corporation’s future source planning.
The McGowan Government is committed to increasing the amount of treated wastewater recycled for fit-for purpose uses that are environmentally sensitive, socially responsible and cost effective to enhance the liveability of our communities.
The Water Corporation is likewise committed to recycling 30 per cent of its wastewater by 2030, and in some regional areas 100 per cent of wastewater is already recycled.
