Given the admission by the Minister for Police of the existence of a secret hit list for the closing of country police stations, is the Premier’s razor gang compiling a list of country hospitals for either closure or downgrading? Dr G.I. GALLOP

It is a very strange secret list. It seems to be available to members of the media and members of the National Party, so it is hardly a secret list. Yet again, the Opposition has come in here with questions based on absolutely false assumptions. That matter has been dealt with very adequately by the Minister for Police.
