2. Transport WA will shortly be conducting a travel demand survey involving residents of the Lower King and Bayonet Head areas. A decision on trialing an increased bus service (including consideration of the service characteristics) will be taken once the survey results are analysed. If such a trial is to be conducted, specific performance levels will be established (particularly for passenger usage and service cost), and the trial would be fo a defined period. The longer term future of the service will be assessed against the results achieved by the trial.
