I refer to the amendment to the Alumina Refinery (Wagerup) Agreement 1978 dated 28 March 2007 and tabled in this house on 24 April 2007. (1) Does the amendment seek to lift the agreement’s limit on alumina production at Wagerup refinery from four million tonnes per annum to six million tonnes per annum? (2) What public consultation was undertaken before the government agreed to this amendment? (3) Were residents around the Wagerup refinery given notice of the amendment?
