Answer as at 1 October 2015 -
Note: WA Health reports by Health Service region, not electorate district.
(a) 7.2 full-time equivalent (FTE) are located at Bunbury Hospital, Busselton Health Campus, Bunbury Community Health Centre, Harvey Hospital, Margaret River Hospital, Collie Hospital, Manjimup Hospital.
11.6 FTE are located at the Acute Psychiatric Unit and Upper and Lower South West Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
(b) 6.6 FTE permanent positions and 0.6 FTE fixed term contract positions are located at Bunbury Hospital, Busselton Health Campus, Bunbury Community Health Centre, Harvey Hospital, Margaret River Hospital, Collie Hospital and Manjimup Hospital.
5.1 FTE permanent positions and 6.5 FTE fixed term contract positions are located at the Acute Psychiatric Unit and Upper and Lower South West Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
(c) Nil.
(d) Referrals are prioritised based on patient urgency and average wait time is between 24 to 72 hours.
(e) Nil. Children are not waitlisted for consultation with a Social Worker.
Within Community Health, when a child is referred the Social Worker then makes contact the family. Within Mental Health Services, children are allocated a care coordinator who works with the multi-disciplinary team to provide services for children.
