KALGOORLIE REGIONAL HOSPITAL - BUDGET ALLOCATION
I have a supplementary question. If no tenders have ever been issued for the upgrade of the Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital, how does the minister know that he cannot get tradespeople to do the work? Mr J.A. McGINTY

AnswerView source ↗

I repeat that the government has indicated that there was real concern expressed to me by the industry, the health department capital works people and the Department of Housing and Works about the capacity to provide a workforce to construct all the capital works projects at the same time. I can put it no more simply than to say that the government has smoothed the program and is now confident that the projects can be delivered.
