(a) The cost of the Working with Children (WWC) Screening Unit, which processes WWC cards, is only partly funded from the revenue from application fees and the State Government subsidises the remaining costs.
(b) The operational cost of the Unit in 2014-15 was $11.845 million, with $6.328 million received in revenue from application fees.
