GP ASK Pilot Program
479. Hon Neil Thomson to
the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Health:
I refer to the
funding allocated to the specialist care GP ASK Pilot Program as listed under
"New Initiatives" in the WA Health spending changes table in the 2024–25
state budget, which outlines a total of $8.2 million over three years,
including $5 million in 2024–25.
Will the minister
provide a full breakdown of initiatives and components funded under the GP ASK
Pilot Program, including:
(1) The amount allocated to each specific program
to enable direct communication between GPs and specialists?
(2) The portion of the program funding allocated
to ADHD-related GP training and prescribing support?
(3) Any other sub-programs or pilot components
included under this initiative?
(4) How outcomes will be measured or reported?
The President: That is a very large amount of data to
seek.
