1 – 3 The Government delivers a wide range of services that are common to both metropolitan and regional areas. It is not possible to answer this question without reference to a specific service. The Government has developed a framework for measuring key indicators of environmental, social and economic regional outcomes as compared to the metropolitan area. This framework is currently under development and once completed will provide a comprehensive overview of regional outcomes compared to metropolitan outcomes which can then be used to support agency planning.
