the Subiaco Community Men's Shed.
(1) How were the
firearm stocks rendered in such a manner that they were no longer considered a major

whom?

I answer on behalf of the minister
representing the Minister for Police. I thank the honourable member for some
notice of the question.
The Western Australia Police Force
advises the following.
(1) They were rendered innocuous by
the use of a mechanical saw.
(2) The rendering
was undertaken by suitably qualified persons, following appropriate guidelines,
and checked by the Western Australia Police Force. Further details on the
location and the individual cannot be disclosed for security and safety
reasons.
