The numbers of medical training positions for the specialties are determined by the medical colleges.
Data in relation to the number of new college-endorsed training positions is held by individual colleges and requires direct engagement with Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
1(a) to 1(g)  Please see tabled paper number #
1 (h) Psychology is an allied health profession, not medical, therefore is not governed by specialist training positions.
2) The numbers for 2026 have not been released yet.
