(a)-(d) A proposal for an open range zoo to complement Perth Zoo's
existing South Perth facility was identified in the Perth Zoo Master Plan
(2004) as a long term planning issue to provide opportunities to accommodate
large open range animals and mixed species exhibits.
There are no present plans for an open range zoo and the priority is to
continue to maximise opportunities at the current South Perth zoo site.
