(1)-(3) As indicated in reply to Question 2033 (24 June 2004), all aspects of the operation, maintenance and repair of the Northbridge tunnel are undertaken by the contractor that designed and constructed it, the Baulderstone Clough Joint Venture. This is performed under a lump-sum contract that covers the first 10 years of the operation of the facility (ie from April 2000). Details of the contractor?s internal cost breakdown are not available to Main Roads Western Australia.
