I refer to the proposed development at lot 62 Croyden Road, Roleystone. (1) Is the minister aware that the Department of Health has advised that it would not approve the sewage treatment system proposed for the development that lot 62 is being rezoned for? (2) How will the minister address this issue before she makes her decision on this proposal? (3) Is the minister aware that the Department of Health has advised that the Department of Environment and Conservation would be unlikely to approve the proposal due to the very high nutrient levels in the treated sewage? (1)-(4) The minister has not been able to find any advice from the Department of Health on waste water treatment systems at lot 62 Croyden Road and asks the member to provide further information on this advice. Amendment 5 to the City of Armadale town planning scheme proposes to require the proponent to obtain approval from the Department of Health and the Department of Environment and Conservation about the use of an onsite waste water treatment plant. The Department of Health assessment will take place if and when a development application is submitted to the City of Armadale.
