ABORIGINAL CHILDREN IN CARE — UNDER SIX YEARS OF AGE
I refer to the 626 non-Aboriginal children under the age of six in care. (1) Of the 142 non-Aboriginal children who have had multiple placements, will the minister provide a table of children of one year of age who have had multiple placements and list how many placements; and, will she provide the same information for children of two, three, four and five years of age? (2) Will the minister provide the regions that the 152 Aboriginal children with multiple placements come from and give a breakdown of children to regions? Hon SUE ELLERY

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. I had a conversation with the honourable member behind the Chair earlier today to indicate that I would do my best to have that information available for question time today. Unfortunately, I do not have it, but I certainly give a commitment that I will provide the information. However, I ask the member to put the question on notice and I will provide the answer as soon as I can.
