I refer to the Department of Mines,
Industry Regulation and Safety's Building and Energy division's
risk-based audit strategy for the work and conduct of registered builders and
building surveyors.
(1) How many
positions within DMIRS are specifically employed to carry out audits under the
Building and Energy audit strategy?
(2) Of those positions, how many are
currently vacant and for how long have they been vacant?
(3) For class 1a residential
buildings —
(a) how many registered builders were
audited during 2022–23; and
(b) how many residential buildings
were inspected during 2022–23?
