(1) The total number of full-time TAFE places available in 2004 will be approximately 30 000. (2) Approximately 25 000 first-year places. (3) To date, around 8 000 with applications yet to close. (4) All school leavers who apply to go to TAFE are guaranteed a place. (5) Any remaining places will be offered to other applicants.
