WATER CORPORATION — INFRASTRUCTURE —
SALMON GUMS
1363. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Water:
I refer to the assets owned and/or
managed by the Water Corporation at Salmon Gums.
(1) What is the amount of water
currently stored in each of the following —
(a) Water Corporation dam 1;
(b) Water Corporation dam 2; and
(c) the quarry reservoir?
(2) What works
have been carried out during 2021–22, 2022–23 and 2023–24
to improve the catchments for the assets set out in (1)?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided by the
Minister for Water.
(1) (a) There is a total of 5 590
kilolitres.
(b) There is less than 7 256
kilolitres.
(c) There is less
than 5 946 kilolitres.
(2) A
refurbishment of the catchment was undertaken in 2020. Since this time, the
Water Corporation has continued to undertake routine maintenance activities,
including vegetation control as required.
