(1) Has the minister received the Department for Planning and Infrastructure’s recommendations on the review of intrastate air services that was due for completion in December 2008? (2) If yes to (1), will the minister advise whether the DPI recommended a break-up of the coastal network? (3) Is the minister aware of the potential negative impact on tourism in Esperance, Carnarvon, Kalbarri and Monkey Mia in the event that a break-up of the coastal network is supported? (4) Is the minister aware of the potential negative impact that the break-up of the coastal network could have on Skywest Airlines Pty Ltd and its employees? However, the minister has been advised that the interests of, and impact on, all stakeholders, including relevant communities, have been taken into account as part of the review process. This has included substantial public and stakeholder consultation. (4) The Minister for Tourism has met with Skywest Airlines and it has briefed her on its operations. (5) See answer to (3) above.
