CORONAVIRUS —
CASUAL WORKERS
234. Mr A. KRSTICEVIC to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question.
What are casuals meant to live off for the next six months, especially ones
with families and mounting cost-of-living expenses?

AnswerView source ↗

I note the commonwealth government
has significantly increased, and I think doubled, the JobSeeker payment. It has
put in place the JobKeeper payment. Obviously, matters of welfare are matters
for the commonwealth government. If the member has any questions in this
regard, I urge him to direct them to his federal colleagues.
The SPEAKER : That is the end
of question time.
