I refer to question without notice 134 asked on 3 April 2007 concerning leave without pay for police officers. (1) Of the eight police officers who were on leave without pay between January and March 2007, can the minister advise the length of time of leave without pay for each officer? (2) What benefits or entitlements, if any, were accrued during this period? (3) Will these eight police officers be retained in the statistics for the overall number of police officers in the state?
