I refer to the Warradarge Wind Farm Project and ask: (a) What level of local content has been negotiated into the contract with the contracted company ‘Vestas’; (b) Can the Minister confirm the total value of the construction component of the project; (c) Can the Minister confirm the 200 jobs predicted to be created by this project will in fact be filled from our domestic market; (d) Can the Minister confirm what components of the wind farm will be procured and constructed in Western Australia; (e) Of the capital cost of the project, what proportion will be procured and built in WA and what proportion will be procured and built outside of WA; and (f) Does the new WA ‘jobs bill’ legislation apply to this project: (i) If so, what is it’s impact; and (ii) If not, why not?

(a) – (f)   The Warradarge Wind Farm is being funded and developed by Bright Energy Investments, which is 19.9% owned by Synergy. Accordingly, this question is not for the Government to answer and should be directed to Bright Energy Investments.
