I refer to the State Crest or Coat of Arms located on the Governor Stirling Tower faade, and I ask:
(a) where will the Crest/Coat of Arms be relocated following the vacation of the building by government agencies and ministerial offices;
(b) when was the final decision made on the site for its relocation;
(c) what is the amount either budgeted or already paid for its relocation; and
(d) has any preparatory work been undertaken for the relocation of the Crest/Coat of Arms at any site and, if so, what has been the cost of that preparatory work?

(a) The State Crest will be stored in the basement of Dumas House.
(b) No decision has been made to mount the Crest in a new location.
(c) The expected cost of planning, removal from Governor Stirling Tower and placing into storage is $21,760.
(d) A feasibility study was undertaken to relocate the Crest to an external wall at Dumas House. The costs were part of the overall design costs associated with the Dumas House base build and fitout works.
