(2) Reasons behind requests for a York bypass are understood and reasonable.
(3) Heavy vehicles travel through many rural towns which would like a bypass, and York is one such town. Construction of a bypass for York will require detailed planning and comparison with other towns with similar requests in order to prioritise limited Government funding. There is no timeline at present for a York bypass.
