FORRESTFIELD–AIRPORT
LINK — HIGH WYCOMBE STATION
222. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
(1) Does the
Public Transport Authority have an agreement with Brookfield Rail to use the
rail lease corridor for the proposed station in High Wycombe?
(2) If yes to (1), will the PTA be
required to pay to use the land?
(3) Has the PTA reached an agreement
with the rail corridor lessee for use of the land?
(4) If no to (3), when does it
expect an agreement will be reached?
(5) Was the cost
of using this land included in the original estimated cost of the Forrestfield–Airport
rail line?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question.
(1)–(5) The plans for the station
and its car park have never included any part of the railway lease corridor and
therefore no agreement is necessary.
