(e) how long is the harvest going to last?
(b) As for (a), the value cannot be calculated until the quantity is known. (c) The timber may be sent to the following markets - sawlogs and LVL logs to Wespine for sawn timber, Wesbeam for Laminated Veneer Lumber, industrial wood to Wesfi Dardanup for particleboard and remaining residue to Simcoa for charcoal/fuel or exported in log or chip form. (d) None. The area is designated under the current and draft Forest Management Plans as State forest for plantations. While the intent is to now replace the pines with tuart forest, the State will also have to identify alternative areas for replacement plantations to sustain the pine timber industry. The FPC will incur additional costs in preparing such land for planting and replacing lost assets such as roads. (e) Refer to (a).
