Darlington; Forrestfield; Glen Forrest; Gooseberry Hill; Hacketts Gully; Hovea;
Kalamunda; Lesmurdie; Mahogany Creek; Mundaring; Parkerville; Paulls Valley and
Piesse Brook.
(b) All or part of the following suburbs: Avon Valley; Bailup; Beechina;
Chidlow; Darlington; Gidgegannup; Glen Forrest; Gorrie; Hovea; Mahogany Creek;
Morangup; Mount Helena; Mundaring; Parkerville; Red Hill; The Lakes; Wooroloo
and Wundowie.
(c) All or part of the following suburbs: Baskerville; Bassendean; Belhus;
Brigadoon; Guildford; Hazelmere; Herne Hill; Middle Swan; Midland; Midvale;

Government Authorities. There have been no changes to the local-intake
boundaries for the above schools in the last four years.
(3) If a local-intake school has spare capacity, consideration is then given
to enrolling children of compulsory school age not living in the intake
area. The order of priority for these enrolments is prescribed by
Regulation 16 (2) (b) and (c) of the School Education Regulations 2000 as indicated below:
· Children who are accepted into special programs, including Approved
Specialist Programs and Gifted and Talented Programs.
· Children who have siblings attending the school in that year of
enrolment, but does not include siblings who have gained enrolment through
special programs, including Approved Specialist Programs and Gifted and
Talented Programs.
· Children whose permanent residence is closest to the school (not
closest to the boundary of the local-intake area).
The local-intake schools are unable to deviate from these legislated
requirements and there is no provision under the School Education
Regulations 2000 for special circumstances or compassionate grounds to be
taken into account.
