answer short, the answer is as follows —
(1) Yes.
(2) This is subject to the workforce optimisation tranche
of the Reform 2020 program, in which we are looking at these aspects of
compensation for police officers as part of that reform project.
(3) I will be furnishing the union with a response in due
course. It is aware of the consultation process, and the consultation with the
senior executive management of police is continuing.
