KINDILINK PROGRAM
844. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Minister for Education and
Training:
I refer to the KindiLink program.
(1) Will the
minister provide a breakdown of funding allocated to deliver the KindiLink
program in Western Australian schools for 2016–17, 2017–18,
2018–19 and 2019–20?
(2) What is the expected funding
allocation in 2020–21 and 2021–22?
(3) Are any other
pre-kindergarten programs supported by the Department of Education; and, if
yes, will the minister provide more detail on the programs offered?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The funding
allocated to deliver KindiLink in Western Australian public schools was $2 909 934
in 2016–17, $2 814 369 in 2017–18, $2 694 024 in 2018–19
and $2 808 597 in 2019–20.
(2) The final allocations for 2020–21
and 2021–22 are yet to be set.
(3) Yes, they are the early
childhood service and child and parent centres.
