(1) The budget for New Children's Hospital has an allowance for public art in accordance with the Percent for Art scheme of $2.6 million. There is a further budget allowance for public interactive art of $2.5 million which recognises the particular requirements of a children's hospital.
The project has appointed an independent experienced art director to oversee the implementation of the Percent for Art program.
(2) A total budget of $1,000,000 has been allocated for Percent for Art for the Midland Health Campus Project. Construction is expected to commence in approximately mid 2012 and the Art Coordinator will be appointed by the Operator subsequent to this.
