REGIONAL YOUTH JUSTICE STRATEGY
340. Hon DARREN WEST to the Attorney General representing
the Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to the regional youth
justice strategy and $43.86 million of royalties for regions funding allocated
to extend the program to the West Kimberley, East Kimberley and Pilbara
regions.
(1) Has the
government done an evaluation of the program?
(2) Will the
review, with any appropriate personal or third party information redacted, be
released publicly; and, if not, why not?
(3) What were
the key findings, and was a drop in youth offending detected?
(4) Will this
program continue in the West Kimberley, East Kimberley and Pilbara regions
beyond 30 June 2016?
(5) Will this
program continue in any other parts of regional WA beyond 30 June 2016?
