I have a supplementary question. Will the minister assure the House that he will not curtail elective surgery or cut the country health services budget as a result of this increase in the metropolitan area? Mr R.C. KUCERA
AnswerView source ↗
We have continued to increase country health services, despite the continual doom and gloom predictions of the other side of the House since we have been in government. We will handle budget issues in the same way that we have handled them in the past two and a half years; that is, sensibly and in accordance with community demands.
