parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Housing:
I refer to the correspondence sent

requested in his letter?

(3) What action has
the former or current minister taken to ensure that the known drug house,

On behalf of the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Housing, I thank the member for some
notice of the question.
The Housing Authority has provided
the following advice —
(1)–(3) The
Liberal–National government does not tolerate antisocial behaviour and
illegal use of public housing. The Housing Authority relies on police actions
and investigations in criminal activities. The Housing Authority applies
through the courts to terminate a tenancy in which a tenant has been convicted
of having used the premises for an illegal purpose or the tenant has caused or
permitted the premises to be used for an illegal purpose.
The Housing Authority advises that it
is closely monitoring its tenancies in Jubilee Reserve and is aware of an
upcoming court hearing. Should the tenant be convicted with a criminal offence,
the Housing Authority will pursue action to terminate the tenancy.
The Minister for Housing is
supportive of the local member meeting with the Housing Authority's
general manager service delivery.
