I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.
(1)
The roadworks are associated with Bayswater station, the Byford rail extension,
the Caledonian Avenue level crossing removal, the Morley–Ellenbrook
line, the Thornlie–Cockburn Link, the Victoria Park – Canning
level crossing removal and the Yanchep rail extension.
(2)
Funds will be utilised for land acquisition to support key freight routes.
