With regard to the draft Australia-United States free trade agreement - (1) Is the Western Australian Government conducting an economic, social and environmental impact assessment of the Australia-United States free trade agreement; if not, why not? (2) Has the Western Australian Government informed locally owned companies that provide goods and services to government agencies about the potential ramifications that the national treatment principle of this agreement pertaining to government procurement will have on them? (3) Will any Western Australian government agencies be tendering submissions to either or both of the two federal parliamentary inquiries into the Australia-United States free trade agreement by the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties and the Senate Select Committee on the Free Trade Agreement between Australia and the United States of America?
