LOGUE BROOK DAM — WATER TRADE DEAL
I have a supplementary question. Twenty-five million dollars of taxpayers’ money has been spent on buying that water. It has been sold back. The minister should just tell Parliament how much Harvey Water paid for it, or did the Water Corporation give it away? The minister should just tell Parliament how much it is going to get for the water. Dr G.G. JACOBS

There is a precedent for water being traded. It is, as I have said, around 29c to 30c a kilolitre. Once the water is given over and traded to Harvey Water, its commercial arrangements will then determine how it distributes that water to its growers.
