I refer to Western Australian (WA) public schools, and I ask: (a) how many incidents were recorded in which a student brought a prohibited weapon (as defined under the Weapons Act 1999 (WA) ) onto public school premises in each of the following school years: (i) 2024; (ii) 2023; (iii) 2022; and (iv) 2021; (b) does the Department divide prohibited weapons into different categories of prohibited weapons; (c) if yes to (b), what are these categories; and (d) for each of the categories of prohibited weapons listed in (c), please provide a breakdown of how many were brought onto WA public school premises in the following school years: (i) 2024; (ii) 2023; (iii) 2022; and (iv) 2021?
