(b) Mandurah?
(a) Planning for Kwinana Freeway has never included a deviation to Rockingham. Access from the Freeway to Rockingham is already provided by east-west links such as Thomas Road and Safety Bay Road. (b) Extension of the Freeway to Mandurah is included in the State’s submission to the Commonwealth for consideration in the 2004/05 Federal Budget and forward estimates. Timing of construction will depend on securing a Commonwealth funding contribution.
