Universities—Mergers
523. Hon Philip Scott to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Tertiary and International Education:
I refer to the
proposal to merge Western Australian universities.
(1) Will the cost–benefit analysis of WA
university merger options conducted by Hon Alannah MacTiernan and received by
the minister in January be made public and, if not, why not?
(2) When
will the WA Government provide certainty to WA universities by confirming if
mergers are going ahead?
