(a) Yes
(i) The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC), along with the Department of Treasury, held three red tape reduction workshops with local government and industry groups in July and August 2017 at Albert Facey House. The DLGSC also held a workshop with the Minister’s Multicultural Advisory Group on 19 July 2017 at Dumas House, a workshop with Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 9 November 2017 at the Mercure Hotel and a workshop with DLGSC staff on 10 November 2017 at 140 William Street, Perth. The workshops were not detailed on the website because the DLGSC held them at the invitation of the host organisation and/or targeted specific stakeholders and interested parties and were not intended for participation from the general public. Workshops for the general public were held in 15 locations across Western Australia and were promoted through social media, electronic mail out to ratepayer groups and stakeholders, individual local governments and newspaper advertisements.
