I refer to the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) fire-fighters and the number of administrative staff FTEs employed by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA), and I ask —
(1) As at 1 September 2012, how many fire-fighter FTEs are allocated to FESA?
(2) As at 1 September 2012, how many administrative staff FTEs are allocated to FESA?
(3) Is it correct that between 1998 and last year the number of administrative staff FTE's allocated to FESA has quadrupled from 100 to 400?
(4) What is the reason for this significant increase in administrative officer FTEs?
(5) Is it correct that between 1998 and last year the number of fire-fighter FTEs allocated to FESA has increased from 855 to only 950?
(6) What is the reason for this small increase in fire-fighter FTE numbers over a 13 year period?
(7) For the 2012–13 Budget, what is the FTE allocation for —
(a) fire-fighters; and
(b) administrative positions?
