(1) Community Afternoon Teas are just one event held with some Cabinet visits to the regions and metropolitan areas. Invitations are sent via householder letterdrop with Australia Post.
In the case of events held in the metropolitan area, invitations are sent to all households in the suburbs surrounding the venue. In regional areas, invitations are sent to either the entire electorate or specific towns within the electorate - depending on distances.
(2) Numbers range between 100 -150.
(3) Costs vary but the average is about $5-00 per head.
(4) The Meet the Minister Afternoon Tea program started in 2002. Since then afternoon teas have been held in the following electorates:

Southern River - 4 November 2002
Collie - 17 February 2003
Rockingham - 28 April 2003
Kimberley - 26 May 2003
Ningaloo - 10 August 2003
Roleystone - 9 November 2003
